You can make notepad as your personal diary using this trick. This is a hidden feature in notepad. Do the following steps..

1. Start->Programs-> Accessories->Notepad to Open Notepad .

2. Then type “.LOG” in notepad(without quotes).

3. Now save the notepad file and close notepad.

4. Open the notepad file then you will find that the current date and time has been

appended at the next line.

5. Now type your notes and save and close the file.

Each time you open the file, Notepad appends the date and time to the end of the file. Try this simple trick now………

Enable Task Manager When Disabled By Virus or Administrator

This post will help you to re-enable Task Manager, if your system facing task manager disabled problem. Task manager is used to view currently running programs and also used to terminate that programs. Some trojan virus cannot detected by antivirus even if it is updated. 3. Navigate to, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
4. Delete DWORD Value "DisableTaskMgr".

Restart your system, if Task Manager still disabled. You can also use another tricks for enabling Task Manager like, 

• Using Group Policy Editor (Gpedit.msc).
• Using Command Prompt.
• Enable Task Manager by creating Registry Key using text editor.

Close all open applications with one click

After the file is downloaded extract the CloseAll folder to a permanent location on your computer.  Since Close All Windows is an application I extracted the folder to C:\Program Files\ where applications are typically installed.

For easy access it is best to pin the application to the taskbar. Drag the Close All Windows application from the CloseAll folder onto the taskbar.

Mission Impossible accomplished: Create a CON Folder in Windows OS

Can you create a folder named “con”, “prn”, “nul” “com1″ “com2″ “lpt1″ etc. in windows ?

The answer is NO and YES!

NO because create a new folder and try to rename it to any one of the above specified names, you know what happens! In Windows XP the folder name automatically changes back to “New Folder” no matter you try any number of times.Where as in Windows Vista when you try to rename the file you get an error message “The specified device name is invalid”.

What is the reason for this? Simple, these names represent the internal devices and hence we cannot create folders with the above names.

YES because it is still possible to create these folders using the command prompt.Heres the instructions to create it.

1. Go to command prompt

2. Type in prompt (FOR EG. TO CREATE CON FOLDER IN E: DRIVE)

C:\>md \\.\e:\con

NOTE:”con” can be replaced by any other names such as “prn”, “nul” “com1″ “com2″ “lpt1″ etc.

3. To delete the folder use the following command

C:\>rd \\.\e:\con

NOTE:The folder can only be deleted from the command prompt.You cannot remove it by right-click delete..

5. Next , Right click on the "Plural" folder and select "Modify"
6. And Enter this information :

Base : Decimal



and Click on 'OK'.

Now Close your Registry Editor by going to File » Exit

If the key does not exist, add a new DWORD value with the name OEMBackground.

Step: 3 Double click on the entry OEMBackground, and change the value from 0 to 1

Step: 4 Open C:windowssystem32oobe.

Step: 5 create a new folder named info, and open it.

Step: 6 Create a new folder within info named backgrounds.

Rename your desired wallpaper as backgroundDefault.jpg and place it inside the folder backgrounds (images must be less than 245KB in size).
